General Operator’s Certificate for Global Maritime Distress & Safety System

This course covers the training recommendations in annex 3 to the IMO Assembly resolution A. 703 (17) - Recommendation on Training of Radio Operators related to the General Operator’s Certificate (GOC). The course is revised to meet the Radio Regulations 2012.

LNG Cargo Handling Simulator Course Deck and Engine for Officers

This training course is designed to familiarize learners in the aspects of general work routine. LNG tanker design, gas tanker safety, properties of cargo and its hazards, procedures of cargo transfer and operation of cargo handling equipment for compliance with the SIGTTO LNG Shipping Suggested Competency Standards.

LNG Carrier Advance Course

This course is intended for Junior Deck Officers and Trainee Gas Engineers who will serve on board “K” Line LNG Carriers

LNG Carrier Course for Ratings

This course is intended for Steward, Deck and Engine ratings with or without tanker shipboard experience (not necessarily on LNG ship). It is designed to familiarize trainees in the aspects of general work routine, LNG tanker design, gas tanker safety, properties of cargo and its hazards, procedures of cargo transfer and operation of cargo handling equipment.

LNG for Gas Oiler Familiarization Course

This course is intended for gas oilers who will be assigned onboard LNG vessels as part of their skill development, to meet the expectation of the Principal and to ensure the safe operation of the vessel.

Oil Tanker Rating Course

This course is intended for the ratings of the deck department who have previous shipboard experience on “K” line’s oil tanker vessels. The course consist of a facilitated discussions, relevant storytelling and experiences sharing among participants.

Oil Tanker Operation Course

Intended for Junior Officers, Engineers and Ratings whose previous shipboard experience may not be necessarily be on tanker vessels. It is designed to familiarize trainees with minimal or without tanker experience, as well as to enhance the knowledge of experienced tankerman in all aspects of general work attitudes, oil tanker operation, types of cargoes and their hazards, operation of cargo handling equipment and general tanker operation.

Refrigerated Container Maintenance Course

This course was designed to enhance the skills and knowledge in the maintenance of refrigeration plant and air condition plant system and refrigerated container, which the principal require for safe operation of the vessel.

Container Cargo Handling Course (Basic)

This course is designed for Junior Deck Officers, Junior Engine Officers and Ratings. The course deals the safe operation on board container vessels. To ensure that officers and personnel engaged in cargo operations on container ships shall comply all international and national regulations as well as the company guidelines for the safe cargo handling operations of container vessels.

Container Ship Familiarization Course

This course is designed for Junior Deck Officers, Junior Engine Officers, Deck and Engine Ratings and the members of catering department. The course deals with shipboard familiarization and safe operation on board container vessels. To ensure that officers and personnel engaged in cargo operations on container ships shall be able to comply with all international and national regulations as well as the company guidelines for the safe cargo handling operations of container vessels.

Container Cargo Handling Course (Advance)

The Container Stowage Planning Course is designed for Deck Officers to enhance the knowledge and understanding of proper solution to manage and control stowage planning on-board container vessel. This course developed to optimize stowage planning to save your time and to increase vessel stability based on the operational concept and practice.

Cargo Damage Prevention for PCC

This course is designed for Deck and Engine Officers and Crew newly assigned to a car carrier. It focuses on the safe stowage and securing of vehicles on vehicle decks and ramps as well as the safety precautions during loading and unloading of vehicles. It will provide the crew members, who are directly involved in cargo operation, with informative guidelines in order to achieve a high standard of technical capability for the safe handling and transportation of cargoes.

Safe Practices & Handling of Fumigated Cargo

This course is intended for personnel who will serve on board K-Line vessel with fumigated cargo. It is also designed to give trainees the proper guidance for the safe handling of fumigants, procedures for safe ventilation, monitoring of gases and other safety aspects of the operation.

Woodchip Carrier Familiarization Course

This course is designed to include all aspects concerning safe operation onboard the woodchip vessel.

 

It is intended to enhance the knowledge, understanding and proficiency required by the principal and a campaign for safe operation of the vessel.

 

This course will provide trainees with the proper orientation, better understanding and appreciation on the safe operation of the Woodchip vessel.
